Meet Volunteer Coordinator

Description
Parent volunteers are needed to help run the alumni meet and home meets.  These volunteer positions are needed for all meets:   

Volunteers Needed
12 Timers (2 per lane)
 1 Head Timer
1 Runner (gets DQ slips and wathc times if needed)
2 Scorers (Mete Manager and Colorado Timing System)
2 people to collect $ for 50/50 sales
1 Announcer
1-2 Photographer(s)
2 people to clean up
National Anthem Performer
2 people to each bring 24 bottles of water in coolers with ice.

For the Alumni meet you will also need 2 people to collect admissions

Task List
Create a volunteer sign-up sheet for each meet.

Take the volunteer sign-up sheets to the swim team parent meeting in October and recruit volunteers.   

E-mail the completed volunteer sign-up sheets to the webmaster so he can post them on the website.

If positions aren’t filled a week before the meet, send a team e-mail out requesting help.

Provide the list of volunteers to the person collecting the admissions fee at the meet (volunteers get in free).

Ask volunteers to arrive ½ hour before the meet starts.

Gather pens, stopwatches, and clipboards for the timers.

Give volunteers instruction if needed.
